GREAT NEWS

NEW LOCATION, NEW ENHANCED RANGE OF SERVICES, SAME GREAT SERVICE FOR PATIENTS

After WWDP closes its doors on 20th March 2015, we shall be seeing you just across the road at 1b Hylton Park Road (RTC North Building).

To accomodate the transfer to the new location (which is less than 50 yards away) we would ask you to bear with us if we need to re-arrange any appointment that you have already made.

GOOD NEWS IS our telephone number and website address will stay the same , so you will have no difficulty contacting us.

WATCH THIS SPACE as we update you as the new practice takes shape over the road.

All our patients should by now have received a letter from us and soon you will receive a newsletter with more details.

Thank you so much for your loyalty, patience and support.  I have been overwhelmed by the messages of congratulations , support and encouragement that we have already received from our patients, suppliers and contractors - amazing, thank you all!

Martin Anderson

PS Thanks to Square One Law for their expertise, help and support in making this happen.

We are proud to welcome you to WWDP where our patients are at the centre of everything we do - ranging from delivering quality dental care for the whole family to life changing cosmetic and implant treatments. We have developed our award winning patient care based on the values expressed to us by our patients – the inspiring of confidence through a caring highly trained team, the comfort gained from a relaxing environment, the benefit of a service tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

If you would like to learn more about the experience we offer and how to become one of our valued patients, you are warmly invited to explore this website and to meet the team.

A Bridge Update

02/02/2015

After negotiations with Sunderland City Council, our Practice will remain fully operational at our present location until 20th March 2015.  Alternative premises are intended to be developed at 1(b) Hylton Park Road which is part of the RTC North building just across the road from us and the intention of the Council is to enable continuity of care to be provided to all our patients at that new practice.

We shall continue to keep you informed.  Thank you for your  patience

Important message for our patients

The Practice has been served with documentation by Sunderland Council which is the legal mechanism to force us to leave our building by the end of February 2015.  Negotiations are under way with the Council. We are working hard, in the meantime, to ensure that all our patients continue to receive the service that you have come to expect.  We shall update you on the website, on Facebook, and in our newsletter.

Practice Forum

The last practice forum meeting was held on Thursday 22nd January 2015 at 5pm.  The Practice Forum will now be called as and when news becomes available on the bridge.

The members of the Forum are patients and Practice representatives. The Forum provides a patient view of the Practice making sure everything we do is patient-centred. It meets on a regular basis to discuss and give feedback in order to promote a high quality standard of care and facilities for both patients and professionals involved in the Practice.

Please contact the Forum on enquiries@wessingtonway.com if you are a patient member of Wessington Way Dental Practice and have an issue you would like raised.

Any patient who is a member of the Wessington Way Membership Scheme is eligible to become a member of the Forum. Enquiries from potential new members of the Forum will be warmly received at enquiries@wessingtonway.com
